Headwave at a GlanceHeadwave was established in Q3 2005. Our first offical showcase was SEG 2005 (Houston, TX) where Headwave demonstrated interactive visualization of multi-hundred gigabyte prestack datasets. We have since increased our organization and hired seasoned management and development teams. As a result, Headwave now offers our products and services in the Americas and EMEA. Development of our software is done in both Houston and Norway, in close proximity to our client base. Headwave caters for both seismic data processing companies and oil and gas exploration/production companies. Our products are in daily use world-wide, onshore and offshore.
Headwave employs technology in highly innovative ways. Our clients are able to interactively QC, interpret and process multi-terabyte datasets on their G&G workstations. This is possible in part due to our unique software and part due to recent advances in PC based hardware, such as Nvidia TESLA/CUDA technologies. Headwave continues to invest heavily in research and development of our technology.
