Alex has broad experience from sales/marketing, research and development in the seismic industry. Prior to Headwave Alex was Senior Researcher in the Pilot Data Processing group at WesternGeco, where he was instrumental in the development of in-house tools for data processing. Prior to Western Geco, Alex worked for Geco-Prakla.
Thy Thy VoVP Engineering (Houston, TX)
Thy Thy manages Headwave's software development in US and Europe. A computer scientist by background, Thy Thy has extensive experience in design, development, and support of G&G workflows and applications. Thy Thy has spent the majority of her career with ExxonMobil Upstream IT and Upstream Research. She adds considerable experience to our management team. Thy Thy holds a BS degree in computer and systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a MBA from University of Houston.
Hugo PoelenProduct Champion/Business Development (Utrecht, The Netherlands)
Hugo has more 30 years experience in seismic interpretation. Following his degree in Geophysics from Utrecht University, Hugo joined Shell E&P. During his career in Shell he worked in the forefront of technology on multi-disciplinary (seismic) interpretation and reservoir modeling projects in the Gulf region, around the North Sea and worldwide. During the last fifteen years Hugo specialised in Volume Interpretation (VI) and contributed to research, development, training and application of these novel VI technologies in Shell E&P projects around the world.

Colin has extensive experience from all aspects of exploration - data processing, modeling and interpretation and QI. Colin was previously with Shell and Jason in the Netherlands. Colin holds a PhD in Geology.
